Rozana is a prominent Saudi international arbitrator and mediator who established her career as a financial consultant in the region after 14 years in corporate banking. She is widely recognised as a pioneer in advocating for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Rozana is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute, member of the CIArb-KSA steering committee and serves on the ICC International Court of Arbitration. As chair of the ICC Saudi Arabia Arbitration and ADR Committee she has focused her leadership on the integration of the Saudi legal framework with international standards by analysing the role of Shari’ah principles within international commercial frameworks along with contributing to the discussions on Saudi Arabia’s draft Arbitration Law and its impact on the enforcement of awards.
Rozana is based in Saudi Arabia and has been an arbitrator and mediator for over a decade and established herself as a leading specialist in handling complex and high-value commercial disputes. Rozana's encompasses a diverse range of industries, including real estate, construction, technology, joint ventures, family businesses and the commercial sector. She is featured in the LexisNexis Middle East Publication on “Women in Law in the Arab World” 23 August 2022 along with recognition for advocating for the use of ICC services to resolve disputes in Saudi family enterprises, focusing on succession planning and maintaining confidentiality under Vision 2030 reforms.
Rozana holds a Master's degree in Law from Queen Mary University London, specialising in International Dispute Resolution and currently completing the Solicitors Qualifying Examination in England and Wales. Rozana also serves on the advisory boards for the College of Law at Princess Nora University and the GCC Board Directors Institute.
